Before the storm hits, check every door and backyard gate. Make sure latches are solid, not loose. Add a security gate or sturdy barrier inside the front door. So, if someone opens it, or the door accidently blows open your pets stay secured inside. Keep pets in a safe room away from exits. And don't forget ID tags and microchip info, just in case. It's simple stuff, but it can make all the difference.
But then again this should be something that is done every day all the time, not just for when the storm comes not only that but if you don't hear your dog or see your dog for quite some time, just go check up on them just some safety steps, cuz there's way too many missing dogs way too many found dogs and no found owners, and way too many my dog was scared and jetted out the house because of the thunder, yes things happen, but just a few extra steps can save all that posting on missing dogs..
You can share this, repost it send it to people,do whatever you have to do, let’s keep these these fur babies safe
