Mark your calendars and spread the news — our Winter Paws Pop-Up is happening next Saturday, December 13th from 10am–2pm ❄️🐾

Winter is coming, and we’re here to help our community get prepared!

This community drive-thru event is designed to help Davidson County families gear up before temps drop even further. We want every furry (or scaly or feathery!) friend and their humans set up for success this season 💙

Here’s what to expect:
🚙 Enter through our main entrance — our team will direct you from there
📝 Check in at the pop-up tent/shelter and let us know what supplies & resources you need
🏠 Community cat shelters are first come, first served (so come early!)

No need to step out into the chill — stay warm in your car while our team takes care of the rest! 🤗

I’ve heard from some of you already to extend condolences and I’m not sure who posted something about this but my sweet boy Ferris passed away in his sleep Monday morning. You are never prepared and I wasn’t but I am grateful for the 16 1/2 years I got to enjoy him. Life moved pretty fast like his namesake but Ferris enjoyed every minute of his life. He had lots of adventures, lots of friends… girlfriends especially and enjoyed being the only boy in an otherwise girl household. I’ve collected several pics and one video to enjoy or make you smile. Some of you knew him or met the ole feller and know he was quite the ham. What I will remember him best for was his love of food, p**p 💩 or finding that sweet spot on a blanket/bed to take a nap.
As I’ve said before savor each day. Keep memories close and with technology utilize video/take pics often. I’m so happy I did with Ferris to now have these and more as he is dreaming eternally.

It’s Pigapalooza day!! 🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷
For we help the farm animals when we can. So Agnes’s babies were growing like weeds and had to get them sterilized and today was the day!! This is the Sandlot bunch if you know the show. (Scroll for a pic of Eric the Great with one of the cuties!)

It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted.  It’s been a long,hot summer.  But today is my sweet p**p eating boy Ferris’s sixteenth birthday! 🎂 I can’t believe how 🍀 lucky 🍀 I’ve been with this dude.  He continues to make me laugh daily and I savor each day I get with my old man. ❤️
Life still moves pretty fast…

Here’s Dolly Fonda celebrating her 5th birthday. Wasn’t sure she would get there a couple weeks ago. Dolly Fonda has chirrosis of the liver and was struggling a couple months ago. She’s now thriving and living her best life as a rescued Great Dane girl here with her rescue brother Rolo. They are quiet players. (Checkout videos in comments!) Shout out to all those that rescue large or small and love these babies through thick and thin. Dolly Fonda and Rolo both have had major health issues and are now loved beyond measure. Happy weekend all! Stay cool!
