Meet our Bather Tech!

Ty is a professional guitar player and father of two little toddlers. Also a retired MMA fighter, Ty now does private jiu jitsu and judo coaching and classes for children in his spare time when he’s not handling all the big hairy doggies for us over here at the Modern Dog.

Ty is more of a dog person than a people person and has a quiet exterior, but wins dogs love with treats, singing to them, and babying the prep process to emotional support them for their entire grooming appointment, finished by groomer stylist wife, Angie.

Angie and Ty moved to Nashville from Alaska in the end of 2025 and are happy to bring hygienic, detailed, and drama free grooming appointments to East Nashville.

Come in any time to see our process and meet Angie and Ty!
