We have half a pig that we need to sell! (The other half has already been bought) Dominik did pigs for 4H this year and 2 of them did not make weight in time for fair. He has half a pig left to sell. Cost is $2.88/lb. (Price INCLUDES processing!) Going to the meat locker this weekend! Let me know if you're interested! Can be split between people too!

OMG! Our 3 yr old locked a chicken in our entry closet and it's been in there all night! Are you for real right now! My kids! I tell ya what! Vadik likes to open the door and let the cat, chickens, and goat just meander into our house, and Merida likes to lock chickens in our closet! 🤦‍♀️ Never a dull moment! Never! 😂

This is "Tiny Tim" he is the latest addition to our Homestead endeavor. A pure bread registered Alpine buck. We picked him up from a dairy in Zeeland and attempted to get momma to adopt him. She isn't too thrilled so it looks like he will be bottle fed until we get him weaned. Can't wait to see his babies next Spring.

So, in the last couple of weeks we have been quite busy here on the Homestead. Our newest addition has arrived and he was about 4weeks ahead of schedule. As a result he had to spend a little time in the NICU while his lungs got a little exercise. The doctors said he was a champ though and he didn't have to stay there long. So, praise God our number 7 is a healthy little boy. His name is Fynwyk Robert and he is precious.
