UPDATE! Little dog is microchipped! Went to Humane to use their 24/7 scanner and they came out to help. 🥰 Communicating with alleged owner now. Poor dog has been outside since Fri at dusk. She’s been bathed, fed, and settled in for the night. Hoping to get her back to a caring family member tomorrow. Thanks for all the goodwill!

Tiny old pup, looks purebred maybe Papillon - white with gray & just a few pounds in weight, picked up 9:40 am Sunday September 13, 2026 found in West Nashville on Cub Creek Road near River Road. Pup has cataracts and maybe deaf, maybe groomed fairly recently but dirty & matted now. Little dog was trotting back and forth in middle of the road. One neighbor guarded this sad soul and called me to catch the dog on her way to church. Another neighbor said he’s been seeing the dog for a while, maybe days. Pup was scared but calm now in a safe, ac place with water and food.

Providing professional care for animals, including rescue, is my life’s work so I don’t need guidance but would appreciate assistance finding the dog’s family.

Don’t panic if you can’t reach me immediately. I’ll have my ringer off in church but dog is as safe & comfy as possible. Doesn’t appear to be injured or in extreme distress.

Ugh my dog has stinky farts. I recently switched Jes’ diet to something I used to feed that I’m feeding everyone else, raw chicken-muscle & bone. He’s never done well on this diet but I keep fooling myself. What to do? Easy.
1-give his system a 1 day break-fast
2-return to the real food diet I know his body loves

^The war for Rob’s attention is ON! Gret is a pittiex guest who chose Rob back in 2023. Wilhelmina aka Willie Nelson the doxie was gifted to Rob Dec 2024. Gret was the first big dog to play with little Willie Nelson. Gret’s returned after a few months hiatus and Wilhe won’t be moved. 😆 See photo comments for more info on backstory and relationship between these dogs.

^Caution: be safe, size difference can be a contributing factor in serious injury between dogs. We can never know exactly what is going on in a dog’s mind!

Our power was out for nine and a half days and we worked to stay warm so our guests were warm and cozy too! Part of being in business for more than 20 years is being prepared for our guests. No one wants to plan a vacation and end up last minute with no care for their pups. You can count on us to be ready for your pups as long as it’s safe enough for us to do so 🙏🏼😊
