♥️ To my wonderful clients, friends, and supporters,
After some unforeseen circumstances and a lot of thought, I’ve made the difficult decision to close my physical veterinary practice. Although my rehabilitation practice was, for many years, the ultimate dream I’d worked so hard to achieve, I’ve learned so much over time that my dream has naturally evolved. This next chapter isn’t about leaving my old dream behind—it’s about building on everything that it’s taught me and now pursuing a vision that allows me to combine veterinary medicine, herbal medicine, education, and community outreach in ways I’ve only recently realized were possible. What once felt like the destination has become the foundation for an even bigger dream, one had been small part of a long and twisting road of what is my veterinary career. I am very proud of what I’ve accomplished so far, but i can’t wait to see what comes next!
Although nothing is officially finalized until all of the paperwork is signed, my landlord and I have agreed on an early release arrangement. If everything proceeds as planned, my last day in my current location will be July 31st.
For approximately the next six months, I’ll continue offering mobile in-home veterinary services, allowing me to continue helping many of the families and pets I’ve come to know and love.
During that time, I’ll also begin launching the first part of my herbal business by offering custom herbal formulations designed specifically for each individual person or pet. Rather than one-size-fits-all products, these formulas will be tailored to each individual’s unique needs and health goals.
After those six months, my plan is to open a physical herbal apothecary—a welcoming storefront where people can browse and purchase thoughtfully crafted herbal formulas for more common health concerns, while I continue offering individualized consultations and custom formulations.
This business has become the new dream of mine as I’ve been learning about all of the amazing abilities of herbs through training/certification. With it, I have so many exciting ideas that I may try to bring to life, including:
🌿 Creating educational herbal content on social media
🍷 Hosting community events like wine-and-herb creation nights
🤝 Collaborating with veterinarians, wellness professionals, and healthcare providers to help manage more challenging cases
🛍️ Setting up booths at farmers markets and local events to share herbal products and education
📚 Offering workshops and classes to help people feel more confident using herbs safely and effectively
While this is a new direction in my career, I hope you’ll understand that I’m not walking away from helping animals. Instead, I’m expanding the ways I will help—not only supporting pets, but also the people who love them. With my online formulations, i can also send herbs to individuals in any location, potentially helping those who may not have any other forms of holistic/integrative care near them. If they have a mailbox 📫 I can help them! My goal is to build something that improves health and well-being of my entire community through education, individualized care, and herbal medicine.
To every client who trusted me with your beloved pets over the past three years—thank you. It has truly been an honor to be part of their healing journeys. Your trust, encouragement, and support have meant more than I can express, and I’ll always be grateful for the relationships we’ve built. If you’ve found value in the care I’ve provided over the years, I hope you’ll continue following along as I build this next chapter. I’d love to have you with me on this journey.
Thank you all for believing in me and supporting this next adventure. I can’t wait to share what’s coming next. 🐾 🐶 🐱 🌱
