๐พ A Little Transparency About Your Veterinarianโs Credentials
With the recent news surrounding a local veterinary clinic and questions about veterinary licensure, we understand that some pet owners may be feeling concerned or wondering what they should look for when choosing a veterinarian.
At Phoenix Veterinary Service, we believe you should never have to wonder about the qualifications or credentials of the person caring for your beloved pet. โค๏ธ
So, we wanted to share ours:
๐ฉโโ๏ธ Dr. Laura Mokhtari, DVM
โข Graduated from St. Georgeโs University School of Veterinary Medicine
โข Completed her clinical year at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine
โข Has been practicing veterinary medicine in Tennessee since 2010
โข Fully licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the State of Tennessee
โข Holds USDA accreditation
โข Holds a DEA registration for the lawful handling and prescribing of controlled substances
Tennesseeโs Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners exists to ensure that veterinarians practicing in Tennessee meet the stateโs qualifications and standards. Veterinary license information can also be verified through the Tennessee Department of Healthโs official license verification system.
We know that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal. You deserve to know who is treating your family member, what their qualifications are, and that they are properly licensed to practice in our state.
At Phoenix Veterinary Service, our commitment has always been simple:
Qualified. Licensed. Accredited. Independent. And genuinely invested in the pets and families we serve. ๐พโค๏ธ
Thank you for trusting us with your pets.
