An updated picture of the program dogs.š„¹š«¶
From left to right, youngest to oldest, these four represent four very different stages of the journey. Watching each of them grow into the dogs theyāre meant to be is one of my favorite parts of this program.
āJosephineā
AKCās Blueroofās Josephine Strides with Purpose
š¦ 2 month old Labrador Retriever
My newest prospect and the baby of the group. Josephine has already given me so much to be excited about, and I have very high hopes for this girl. Over the next 4ā6 months, sheāll continue developing and preparing for her future placement.
āRamonaā
AKCās Chases Strides with Purpose
š¼ 10 month old Labrador Retriever
Recently matched with her future handler, Gracie. Sheāll be trained as a multipurpose service dog, and Iām so excited to watch this teamās journey unfold.

āPhoebeā
AKCās Barefoot Phoebe Strides with Purpose
CGCA, CGCU
šø 16 month old Labrador Retriever
Phoebe is a multipurpose service dog in training for her handler, Alia. She recently completed her first team training, and watching these two come together was incredibly special. They are such a natural match.
Alia + Indigo + Forrest
āElliottā
AKCās Elliott Strides with Purpose
CGCA, CGCU
šæ 27 month old Labrador Retriever
My oldest and most far along program dog. Elliott is in the final stages of training and should be heading home to begin his life as Mackenzieās full time service dog sometime between November and January.
Mackenzie Ferrell
Four very special dogs, all at completely different stages of their journeys.
There is so much work, time, patience, and love that goes into these dogs long before they ever even meet their future handlers. I pour myself into them every single day, watch them grow, and love them as if they were my own. I feel incredibly lucky to do what I do and, most of all, to be a small part of each of their journeys.
