Another legitimate aviculturist getting reprimanded by Meta

Appears FB is at it again with new AI upgrades smh 🤦🏼‍♀️
If our pages get taken down again, we are only gonna be using the webpage and I think closing our Facebook account at this point. I’m so over this.

I just updated my listings and apparently I’ll be keeping up with it a lot more due to our recent issues with Meta.

They’ve gone as far as taking down our day to day photos and updates.

Our page is under attack by Facebook and Meta. I am averaging about 20 reports an hour at this point for images I’ve posted of our birds. Most were not even birds that we have available, just cute photos and videos of my family interacting with our birds.

I have appealed many of the reports but the amount that are being taken down for going against “community guidelines” is getting to be too much to keep up with.

When I opened my business page, there was an option to choose which type of business your establishment was. “Pet breeder” was one of those options.

The terms and conditions state that animals can be posted by legitimate businesses (link for full explanation: https://transparency.meta.com/policies/ad-standards/restricted-goods-services/live-endangered-nonendangered-animals/). However, their overzealous AI oversight is failing many legitimate businesses, like my own, and causing mass shut downs of many animal related pages.

I’m posting this as a heads up, as I’m am expecting that at this rate my page is going to be shut down permanently.

Thank you for your support over the last 2 decades. We won’t be going anywhere, but we just may not be available here on in the future.

Do you ask the cashier for a deal when you go to Walmart?

Do you ask the gas station to give you a deal on your fuel?

The ideology that farmers, ranchers, or homesteaders owe you a deal because you're buying 2 or more of (fill in the blank), is the greatest insult of all time.

Stop normalizing this behavior. 😤

Farmers, Ranchers, and homesteaders are due the same respect when it comes to the pricing of whatever it is they're selling.

I can't tell you how many times we personally experienced this when we farmed and it's the biggest insult ever. It isn't enough a farmer isn't paid fairly, the government taxes farmers to death, and twice on Tuesdays, and little Billy wants a deal.. 😡

Farmers, Ranchers, and homesteaders work tremendously hard, try working 7 days a week, 365 days a year, with zero vacations.
