Meet Oshun! Oshun has been a customer of ours for a few years. (She was one lucky snake who survived the ice storm last winter.) Oshun comes by her name honestly. It comes from the revered deity of Yoruba Orisha in West Africa. Oshun represents fresh water, love, fertility, beauty and wealth. Oshun is all of that and more. She’s magical!

Customers have asked me why I don’t agree with every other day visits with cats. Cats are notorious for getting into things. You just hope that they don’t get into something that can harm them. In this particular case, Nash decided to throw a party while his daddies were gone on vacation. After all, they deserved a vacation too! So, while Nash and Binx were having their fun, Sammy decided it would be preferrable if he stayed out of the way and observe the party from a safe place. Being a very mature cat, Sammy is quite stoic. He expressed that sometimes these young’uns can be quite ridiculous!

Kaly belongs to a client who owns a premier dog and cat boarding facility. I was referred to her by another client of mine. When I met her, I was immediately impressed with her knowledge of animals. So, I asked her why she wanted
me to pet sit her cat, when she owned one of the most successful and respected boarding facilities in Nashville.
She explained that most of her cat clients were special needs animals. They were on medications that required timed administering and were on 24/7 care. She understood that cats do much better when they’re in their
own environment. They don’t like to be moved around. Even when their caregiver travels, they’re much happier and safer at home. That’s true for Kaly. She’s very well loved by her mother.

River and Beckett have been clients of Kisses Happen for years. River, the youngest, is jealous that Beckett might get too much attention. So, she makes certain she’s always in front. Beckett has learned over the years, that it takes time for youngsters to grow up. Personally, I think River will always be the party girl.
