Eve is our July MVP Veterinary Assistant who is always willing to jump in wherever she’s needed. She’s a true team player, consistently lending a hand, tackling tasks around the hospital, and going above and beyond to help both our patients and her coworkers!

Southside June Unicorns of the month are Keren and Makyla 🎉🎉🦄🦄

🌟Keren is one of our amazing Veterinary Assistants who joins us during her summer and holiday breaks from school. She is currently entering her third year of veterinary school at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, and we couldn’t be more proud of all she has accomplished!
Keren is an invaluable part of our team. She is hardworking, intelligent, compassionate, and always willing to lend a helping hand wherever it’s needed. She also plays an important role in assisting with our Spanish-speaking clients, helping us provide clear communication and exceptional care to even more families. We are incredibly grateful to have Keren as part of the Southside family and can’t wait to watch her continue to grow into an outstanding veterinarian. We are so proud of you, Keren! 🩺🐾

🌟Makyla is our other Unicorn of the Month! Although she joined the Southside family just a couple of months ago as a Kennel Assistant, she has already made a lasting impression on our team!
Makyla is hardworking, intelligent, and an incredibly fast learner! She consistently takes initiative, has a wonderful attitude, and is always eager to help wherever she’s needed. She is currently a pre-veterinary student at the University of Delaware and will be returning to Southside during her summer and holiday breaks. We are incredibly grateful to have Makyla as part of the Southside family and look forward to many more summers with her! 💙🐾

Heads up Pet Parents! ⚠️ Please be aware that our normal clinic entrance on Nolensville Pike is temporarily inaccessible due to ongoing city construction. This will remain in place until September 2026.

To reach us, please use the following detour route:

- You will not be able to access the clinic entrance on Nolensville Pike
- Instead, turn onto Shadow Glen Drive
- Take the immediate next right onto the newly paved route
- Continue straight into our parking lot

Detour signage is posted in the area, but it can be difficult to see due to limited visibility, so please slow down as you approach.

⏱️ We also recommend planning for extra travel time when coming to your appointment, as construction and navigating the detour route may cause delays.

If you have any trouble finding us, please call the clinic — we’re happy to help guide you in!

🌟Meet Corinne, one of our lead Veterinary Technicians who has been a valued member of the Southside team for more than 15 years! As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, Corinne brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and compassion to every patient she cares for. She is especially known for the exceptional attention and care she provides to our surgical patients, helping ensure their utmost safety and comfort throughout their procedures.
We are so grateful for Corinne’s commitment to our patients, clients, team, and the veterinary profession! Thank you Corinne! 🦄

🌟Dr. Anderson- After 5 wonderful years with our team, it’s time to wish Dr. Anderson farewell as she begins her next adventure! Over the years, Dr. Anderson has provided exceptional care to countless pets, built lasting relationships with clients, and been an invaluable part of our Southside family! Her compassion, dedication, knowledge, and sense of humor have left a lasting impact on both our team and the families she served.
