We’re not exactly sure what breed Dorito is… and honestly, we’ve decided it doesn’t matter because he’s AWESOME. 😂❤️

Dorito is a 1–2-year-old handsome mystery mix with a whole lot of personality packed into one adorable dog! 🥰 He’s good with cats, too — because apparently Dorito has decided everyone deserves a chance. 😹🐶

As with any dog, Dorito will require a meet-and-greet to make sure he’s the right fit for his potential new family.

We may not know exactly what kind of dog Dorito is, but we do know one thing: he’s 100% a good boy. 🥹❤️

🐾 PET OF THE WEEK: CHICO 🐾

💙 Chico is still waiting for his person.

This handsome 2-year-old Boxer mix has been through more than any dog should have to. He has been waiting since November, and after recently being returned to the shelter, we are determined to help Chico find the home that will truly be his forever.

Chico is the kind of boy who wants to be close to his people. He loves attention, loves to cuddle, and has a whole lot of love to give. ❤️

But Chico also needs someone who understands him.

🐾 He is a strong, energetic boy
🐾 He can pull on the leash, so an experienced handler or strong dog walker would be best
🐾 He would benefit from someone willing to continue working with him on his leash manners
🐾 He is dog selective, so a meet-and-greet with any resident dogs is important
🐾 No cats, please
🐾 He is neutered, fully vaccinated and ready to go home

We're not looking for just anyone to take Chico home. We're looking for his person — someone who understands that a dog coming from a shelter may need patience, consistency, exercise, and a little time to settle in.

Because once Chico knows you're his person, we're pretty sure you'll have a loyal shadow who just wants to be loved. 💙

Chico has waited long enough.

Unfortunately, Chico was returned, so we’re hoping to find someone who is truly the right fit for him this time around. He is a strong boy who can pull on leash, so an experienced dog handler/walker would be best for him.

🐾 Meet Lola! 🐾

Lola is a beautiful 7-year-old American Bulldog looking for a family to call her own! 💕 This sweet girl has been through a lot, but she’s on the road to feeling her very best.

Lola came to us after suffering from a severe flea infestation, but she has been treated and is now flea-free! 🩷 Her coat is growing back, and with some love, care, and a little time, she’ll be back to looking as amazing as she feels.
