Michael Reed, a home-schooled student from Hixson, TN, was one of nine students from across the country to have his exhibit displayed at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. His exhibit, "An Unpopular Stand: The Treatment of WWII POW's in America," won 1st place in the Junior Individual Exhibit category at Tennessee History Day in 2006. We can't wait to see more amazing exhibits like Michael's next Saturday, April 9 here in Nashville for THD!
