Good morning from Sally

One leg down and feeling better than ever!

09/29/2026

Afternoon update!: Sally did amazingly! The surgery was completely straightforward and she woke up easily from anesthesia. Within 30 minutes was trying to jump around and play so the staff needed to carry her around for the afternoon to avoid her being too silly. She ate right at the vet's office so she really was just a wonderful patient!

----

If you're following along a little bit with miss Sally, she was originally scheduled for the amputation of her damaged leg on october 14.
Yesterday, the vets office called me and informed me that the primary veterinarian in the office decided that he wanted to oversee it himself, and it has been moved up.. for today.

So we just dropped off Sally at the vet! She was already getting all the love before I left 🥰

Praying that it will be easy and smooth for the surgery itself, and that sally likewise will have a great recovery and be able to move around with greater ease.

We're very thankful for the love all of you guys have had in continuing to reach out about Sally!

I will keep you posted later today with how it went 💕🙏

My sweet Wanda. She is caring for her last litter before retiring. She has been a fabulous cat and I just adore her, but the time has come!

This will probably be one of the hardest goodbyes for me personally 😭
