The dogs call the shots, and apparently, the walk comes before listening. Honestly, we get it.

The leaves are starting to change, the mornings are getting cooler, and our walks are getting a little longer. 🍂

Somewhere along the way, these everyday moments of cute faces, neighborhood strolls, and very happy dogs, have become some of our favorite parts of the job.

Around here, we’re big believers in enrichment. 🦴

Our pups can expect plenty of attention and a daily walk, but sometimes it’s the little change in routine that makes the biggest difference. We love adding a bone or chew to their day and giving them some uninterrupted time to settle in and work away at it.

Bones and enrichment chews can be found at many local pet stores, making it an easy way to switch things up at home.

Chewing gives dogs a different kind of mental stimulation than a walk or play session. Pairing mental enrichment with physical activity can help pups feel more fulfilled and, often, more tired in a different way.

Sometimes, a little quiet time with a good bone is exactly what they need. 🧡

We’d say it was a successful one! Getting those zoomies out, getting some playtime in, and running out of energy so when you get home, they’re ready for cuddle mode.

That’s what we call a good day!

Sometimes the excitement just gets the best of them 😂🐾 and we roll with it!

We absolutely encourage basic leash manners, but we’re also here to let your pup be a dog, get their energy out, and actually enjoy their walk.

Sometimes that means a little silliness, some zoomies, and a whole lot of playing. We let them have their moment, then reel it back in and keep moving!

Happy, tired pups are the goal.

A face that is completely unbothered by this heat index 😂🐶

We don’t know about you, but we are READY for fall. We’re so close!

Until then, we’re keeping a close eye on our pups when we’re outside. We’re watching the heat, taking plenty of breaks, keeping water nearby, and making sure they stay safe and comfortable in these high temps.

Fall adventures are coming… but for now, we’re taking it slow in the backyard!
