If you’ve found a lost or stray pet, checking for a microchip is one of the quickest ways to help them find their way home. Our in-store microchip scanning service makes it easy to take that first step.
Here’s how it works:
Find Your Nearest Store: Use our Hollywood Feed Store Locator to find a neighborhood store near you.
Bring the Pet in Safely: If it’s safe to do so, transport the pet using a secure leash or a sturdy pet carrier.
Ask a Feed Team Member: Let one of our team members know you’ve found a lost or stray pet. We’ll be happy to help.
Scan for a Microchip: Using a universal microchip scanner, we’ll check for a microchip, typically around the area between the pet’s shoulder blades.
Take the Next Step Toward a Reunion: If a microchip is detected, we’ll help you identify the microchip registry or company so you can reach out and work toward reconnecting the pet with their family.
