When they say to stimulate your patient during anesthesia recovery, but they didn’t say how… so Hannah starts passionately explaining the her current favorite book series to make sure her surgery patient is fully caught up… 📖😂

Between dramatic character arcs, unexpected plot twists, and a few very strong opinions, this patient is getting the full recap experience on the road to waking up 🐾✨

In all seriousness—recovery is one of the most important parts of anesthesia. Close monitoring, warmth, comfort, and gentle stimulation all play a huge role in helping our patients wake up safely and smoothly… even if that stimulation comes with a side of book talk 😉

Squaredance is a gentle, calm, and incredibly sweet dog with a soft, affectionate personality. He loves being close to his people and continues to grow more playful as his confidence builds. He’s responsive, easy to manage, and thrives with gentle guidance.

Veterinary Reception Week shoutout 💖✨

Today we’re celebrating Jaelyn — the powerhouse behind the front desk and the one helping keep the entire practice running as our Practice Manager 👏

Jaelyn wears about a hundred hats on any given day — supporting the reception team, solving problems before most of us even notice them, keeping things organized, and still managing to be a friendly, familiar face for our clients. Basically… if something’s running smoothly, there’s a very good chance Jaelyn had something to do with it 😌

She leads with patience, keeps us grounded, and somehow balances it all with grace (and probably a very long to-do list 📋😅).

We’re so grateful for everything you do, Jaelyn — WesVet truly wouldn’t be the same without you 💕

If you’ve ever called, texted, messaged, or walked through our doors…chances are you’ve experienced her magic! She’s the friendly voice, the organized brain, the chaos coordinator… and even a part-time social media queen 📱💅

Madi keeps us running, keeps us laughing, and keeps everything (mostly) under control — which is no small task in veterinary medicine 😅 From juggling phones to helping behind the scenes, she does it all with a smile (and probably a snack for your pet nearby).
