What an incredible reminder that kindness knows no boundaries. 🐾❤️

​Today, a man named Michael reached out to Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue about a tiny kitten in desperate need. When we asked if he could keep her safe until we found placement, Michael shared that he is currently experiencing homelessness.​

But his circumstances didn't stop him from being a hero.

​The sweet kitten had scrambled up into a car’s engine block. We didn't have the resources to extract her, but we promised that if he could safely retrieve her within the hour, a volunteer would come straight to him. Just 10 minutes later, Michael called back—he had her!

​Our amazing volunteer dropped everything to rush over. Michael was filled with so much concern and gratitude for us, but the truth is, he is the one who saved her life. As shown in the text exchange, Michael has a massive heart for those who cannot help themselves.

​Meet Michaela, named in honor of her rescuer. As you can see in her photo, she is now safe, warm, and getting the care she deserves.

Travis is an adorable Lab mix born on 3/14/2026 with a playful spirit and a sweet, friendly personality. This smart little puppy loves meeting new people, playing with other dogs, and exploring the world around him.

Travis is great with kids and enjoys having canine buddies to romp around with. He’s social, curious, and eager to learn, making him a wonderful addition to a family ready for puppy adventures and lots of love. Whether he’s playing outside or snuggling in for nap time, Travis is happiest when he’s with his people.

With his loving nature and happy energy, Travis is ready to find a forever home to call his own!

Dexter is a 6-year-old Pit mix who is truly a “turn-key” dog. He’s housebroken, crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, and is very responsive to commands and correction. Dexter already knows the routine of being a good house dog and settles easily into daily life.

He’s a confident guy who’s used to being the only dog, so he naturally likes being in charge. Dexter could live with one or two calm, well-mannered dogs, but he doesn’t do well with dominant personalities and will stand his ground if challenged. Because of this, he would do best either as the only dog or with easygoing dogs that respect his space.

Dexter is a solid, dependable dog who just needs a home where he can relax, be part of the family, and enjoy the good life. At 6 years old, he’s past the puppy stage but still has plenty of love and loyalty to give to his people.

Moon & Midnight are a bonded duo of void brothers with double the charm and twice the mischief!

These teenage brothers are identical black cats… almost. You can tell them apart because Moon has exactly ONE rebellious white whisker, which he insists is a fashion statement. Midnight, meanwhile, is rocking the full stealth-mode look.

Moon and Midnight are super affectionate on their own terms. They love being near their people, handing out purrs, soaking up attention, and accepting treats like the tiny royalty they are. They’re big fans of catnip, playtime, and especially cuddling together in their cat tree, where they can often be found plotting their next nap.

Important note from the boys: they prefer all four paws on the ground and aren’t fans of being picked up—but sit nearby with snacks and affection, and you’ll be their favorite human in no time.

They do great with other cats, haven’t met dogs yet, and are looking for a home that understands that brothers belong together. Adopt one, and you’ll miss out on half the magic—these two are a package deal

Magnolia is a quiet, thoughtful girl with a tender heart. She’s more on the introverted side and prefers to take her time getting to know people, but once she feels safe, her sweet personality really shines.

Magnolia loves playing with toys and romping around with her siblings, especially when she can relax and be herself. With people, she’s shy—but she is learning to trust. In a calm, quiet space with her person, Magnolia will accept gentle pets and show just how brave she’s becoming.

This lovely girl has a serious soft spot for food—especially lickable squeeze treats like Churu… though honestly, any food will do! When Magnolia thinks it’s dinnertime, her confidence skyrockets and she’ll let out a surprisingly loud meow to make sure you don’t forget.

Meet Joe!

Joe Faith came to us after we took a leap of faith ourselves. We were contacted about several dogs in need of rescue who were living outdoors with minimal shelter during a period of torrential rain and severe storms. Thankfully, Joe is now safe and ready to find a loving home of his own.

Joe gets along great with other dogs and has an easygoing, sweet personality that makes him a joy to be around. This little guy is easy to handle, trusting, and loves being close to his people. One of Joe’s favorite things is going for car rides—he's happiest when he gets to tag along on life's adventures.

With his calm, affectionate nature and fun-loving spirit, Joe would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal best friend.
