The many stages of a chaos gremlin on treadmill 🤣🤣

It is hot AND humid out, which means we will be limiting outside exercise for both our personal and client dogs today! Safety is priority!

Treadmill is a great way to get the exercise in, but keep your pup cool! (Or warm in the winter)

The best part? You don't *need* a dog-specific treadmill! That folded up mill in your basement collecting dust should work just fine!!

Equipped with a fresh groom from The Royal Pawlor Smokey has officially graduated from Level Up Academy's 8 Week Day School Program!!

Looking at what he was like before compared to how he is now, I am looking at a totally different dog!

I am so unbelievably proud of Smokey and his family for committing to the training and learning how to be the best team they can be! Congratulations team Smokey!!! 💜🎉

What you see: a dog playing with a big ball.

What you don't see:
-The nearly seven weeks it took to bring this dog out of his shell to be able to feel like he could play
-The constant work to build his confidence and trust in myself and his people, as well as develop a new relationship with me, and improve on the established relationship with his people.
-Seven weeks of failed attempts at play - so we found other ways to engage and build our relationship until he felt like he could.

There is *NOTHING* and I mean nothing more rewarding than helping an anxious, insecure dog learn how to dog and watching moments like these when a dog who was so unsure and uncomfortable in existence begins to open up and just *dog*.

I am so unbelievably proud of Smokey and his people. He has come an incredibly long way and we still have a little ways to go, but he is a totally different dog from where we started 💜

For the first time in a minute we have openings for our Level Up Academy Day School!!!

Drop your pup off with us at our Nashua training facility and let us put the foundation for all of the skills you need your dog to know - you will receive access to a video library in which we will upload videos of all of the training so you can follow along and maintain the training at home!
