What you see: a dog playing with a big ball.

What you don't see:
-The nearly seven weeks it took to bring this dog out of his shell to be able to feel like he could play
-The constant work to build his confidence and trust in myself and his people, as well as develop a new relationship with me, and improve on the established relationship with his people.
-Seven weeks of failed attempts at play - so we found other ways to engage and build our relationship until he felt like he could.

There is *NOTHING* and I mean nothing more rewarding than helping an anxious, insecure dog learn how to dog and watching moments like these when a dog who was so unsure and uncomfortable in existence begins to open up and just *dog*.

I am so unbelievably proud of Smokey and his people. He has come an incredibly long way and we still have a little ways to go, but he is a totally different dog from where we started 💜

For the first time in a minute we have openings for our Level Up Academy Day School!!!

Our friends The Royal Pawlor gave Bailey a nice tub and de-shed to clean up before he went home after his Board and Train program!

We started teaching early grooming habits and he was an absolute angel for Miss Emily! (PLUS he got to go home without smelling like dog slobber after playing with Riot in between training sessions and naps for his entire program 🤣)

We love being able to pair with our facility "roommates" Barkingham Palace Doggie Daycare and the Royal Pawlor to help give your pups a well-rounded environment and a one-stop-shop location to address your pup's training, fulfillment, grooming needs and more!

Bailey, who's currently doing a board and train with Level Up Canine, LLC., visited the Royal Pawlor today to learn all about grooming! He was the bravest little boy, and very patient during his groom. After his blow dry he had a good brush out and deshed, and is ready to go home to his family as a Certified Good Boy! ✨

Smokey is absolutely killing it! We took a field trip to Benson Park yesterday to work on his skills in public and look how cute and happy he looks!!!

You'd never know he used to be overly anxious, reactive, and ruled by some inner chaos!

How he's able to evaluate choices, take space for himself as he needs it, and is able to remain calm, cool, and collected without reacting to new people, dogs, etc. He can just chill and trust his people to handle it!

I'm so proud of Smokey's family for working on building his confidence and their relationship and helping Smokey learn how to settle, make choices, and become the responsible gentleman he is becoming! And his Day School Program isn't even finished yet!!

Our Inaugural Level 1 Group Class has come to a close and our students have graduated!!!

We also happened to bump into our friends at Offbeat Canine Training and decided to merge the classes to add distractions and challenges to each other's students and had a FABULOUS day!

I'm so proud of the growth from these students and the commitment I've seen these people have to their pup's learning and improvements! They've passed this level!! I can't wait to see where the next takes them!!!
