Happy Monday friends! ❤️
Last night I was sitting on the couch with Mama and Daddy when Maggie and Grandma finally came back home! I was very happy, but also very tired from the weekend so I stayed on the couch and wagged my tail like crazy! Grandma gave me lots of love and Maggie paraded all over the house because she was happy to be home! It was just about my dinner time, so Mama and Daddy went to the kitchen and I followed them!
Daddy started making Dusters wet food dinner, and Mama gave me my night time meds and made my doggie dinner! I ate my whole dinner, then Mama wiped my face, and Maggie licked the bowl clean when I was done! Daddy cleaned my dishes from my dinner, and then Mama started frying up some chicken and cooking pasta for the homemade chicken parm that she was making for Daddy! While Mama cooked Daddy grated up some fresh Parmesan to go with the meal!
When me, Mama and Daddy went to the living room to sit down and eat we all saw that Maggie was already in a little ball on the couch in the spot where i usually lay down during dinner! Mama and Daddy sat down, and I walked over and sniffed Maggie and I could tell she was exhausted from visiting Great Grandma all day, so I walked over to the other end of the couch and jumped up so I didn’t disturb Maggie! Normally Maggie is wide away begging during dinner time, but she couldn’t even keep her eyes open!
I was pretty sleepy too, so I closed my eyes and as soon as Mama was done eating I flopped across her lap and closed my eyes! When Daddy finished eating I crawled down the couch and curled up in his lap! My tongue was sticking out so far and it was so dry Mama and Daddy couldn’t help but giggle at how silly I looked! We cuddled till around 1am, then Mama said it was just about bed time!
Daddy helped wake me up and slide me off the couch, then he took me outside to go potty! When I came back inside Daddy carried me to bed where Mama was waiting to cover me in kisses! Daddy laid me down on the bed and both him and Mama cuddled with me! Daddy and Mama both gave me my nightly scratch down, and I got tons of goodnight kisses!
When I was all ready for bed I crawled up the bed and snuggled behind Mamas pillow. Daddy went to go get ready for bed while I cuddled with Mama! Daddy came back to bed a little while later and as always he brought me some homemade frozen treats, and some popsicles for himself and Mama! We all ate our frozen treats and then we cuddled up for a good nights sleep!
In the morning Daddy woke me and Mama up to start our day, but as always I refused to get up! Mama and Daddy gave me tons of love and kisses and a full body scratch down, but I just wanted to stay in bed a little longer! Mama and Daddy got ready for the day and eventually I jumped out of bed and followed Mama to the kitchen to get my breakfast! Mama packed up Daddy’s lunch, gave me my breakfast and my morning meds, then it was just about time to go!
Mama and Daddy took me outside to go potty, and when I was all done we loaded up in the truck to bring Daddy to work! Mama wanted to go tanning tonight, so she needed Daddy’s truck for the day! When we got to Daddy’s work I didn’t go inside, but one of Daddy’s co workers came outside and gave me lots of love while I wiggled around like crazy in the truck!
Me and Mama gave Daddy some big goodbye kisses then Mama drove me back home! When we got home instead of going to the door I went around the side of the house, and Mama followed me. My belly has been a little better and I havnt been having potty emergencies as often, which is good news, but my potties still arnt back to normal. I went potty twice outside and while Mama says they’re getting better, they’re still not normal yet but hopefully they will be soon!
When I was all done I waddled back inside and Mama followed me. Mama went outside to clean up my potties and check on the garden, and when Mama was coming back inside it was starting to rain! Me and Mama went down the hallway to Grandmas room to say hello to her and Maggie, and we spent a little time in their room! After a while Mama got up to go do a few things around the house like breaking down some recycling and taking the trash out, and I supervised!
Mama sat down on the couch for a little bit and I stayed in the living room with her. It was steadily raining pretty hard outside, which made me sleepy! Duster was having lots of fun watching all the birds through the window and keeping an eye on the yard! All day Mama could tell I really wanted to go back to bed, so finally later in the afternoon Mama brought me to the bedroom and I put my paws on the bed so Mama could lift my t***y up into bed!
Rainy days are perfect for naps, so I crawled up the bed and snuggled into the pillows! Mama laid down and cuddled with me but she couldn’t fall asleep, so she just gave me lots of love and kisses while I slept! Maggie even came to check on me and Mama gave her a nice big belly rub before she crawled back out the kitty door to go find Grandma!
Me and Mama snuggled up for a little longer, then Mama realised I was overdue for my mid day snack! Mama got out of bed and I slowly crawled my way to the end of the bed where Mama gave me another full body scratch down and I did a few big stretches! I jumped out of bed when Mama left the room and me and Maggie followed her to the kitchen for snack time!
Mama started frying me and Maggie up some eggs and it smelled so yummy! I laid in front of the fridge because I know I have to wait for them to cool down, but Maggie was a little impatient and could hardly wait! Once the eggs were a safe temperature Mama fed me and Maggie our egg bites one by one and we gobbled them right up! Mama cleaned up the kitchen then we went to the living room to relax for a little bit!
After a little while Mama had to get going so she could pick up Daddy from work and go to the tanning salon, so Mama gave me lots and lots of goodbye kisses, then Grandma gave me and Maggie some cookies in her room so Mama could sneak out the door! While Mama was gone me, Maggie and Grandma all hung out in Grandma’s room and I took a nice little nap while I waited for Mama and Daddy to get back home!
Mama texted Grandma to check on me and Grandma said I was sleeping like a baby, but very gassy and stinking up her room hehehe! At least Mama and Daddy should be home shortly, and then they’ll have to suffer through my gassiness! I hope you all had a wonderful day today! Goodnight everyone and sweet puppy dreams!
