Hello Wagging Wheel Pet Family! After 5 years in business we need to make a couple changes due to rising expenses from propane, electricity, treats, pet food, cleaning supplies, basically almost everything has increased and we’ve bit the bullet for a while.

So starting in two weeks (5/22/26) we will be charging a small fee of 2% on all Venmo payment transactions to recover the costs of using that platform for payment. While we don’t have a preference for payment on our end, if you’d like to save the 2% transaction fee, we will continue to take cash or check for payment.

Additionally all new reservations starting 5/10/26, will see an increase in price of $5/ per night per pet and also for day care.

We have reservations currently in our system through February 2027 and we will honor our current rate to all of those current reservations already booked. But moving forward starting this Sunday if you book a new reservation, there will be a small price increase.

We continue to strive to keep pet boarding affordable in NE MT for both young and older pet parents (& the ones in between 😉) wanting to travel afar or needing to go to a doctor’s appointment out of town while giving your pet our attention, care, and a fun filled experience out here at the farm.

Looking for some fun this New Year’s Eve? Spend it at the Valley Event Center rink ⛸️ Everyone welcome- young, old, and even the ones in the middle. The first 100 through the door are free admission compliments of Wagging Wheel Pet Boarding. $2 each for skate rentals or bring your own. We start ringing in the New Year with NYC- for those that want to call it a night a little sooner. Then we will countdown with the Midwest, and complete the night at midnight Montana time. Always a fun time- open skate, races, concessions will be open- come celebrate with a rink burger! 🍔 Many of your HLYH board members are volunteering for the night to make this happen for our corner of NE MT, so hope you can make it for some good old fashioned fun 🎉

We closed out the year with our northeast Montana community on the ice. ⛸️ Over 170 people came to skate and welcome in 2025. Thank you for supporting us so we can do fun things such as this to give young kids and us big kids a memorable way to bring in the New Year! The northern lights even made an appearance at 2 am 01/01/2025. 💫

Don’t forget, it’s good old fashioned fun party time tonight! 🥳 Bring your friends, and your friend’s friends (you just can’t bring your fur friends) First 100 skater fees are waived tonight. Rental skates available. Skating through the ball dropping in NYC, central time zone, and then mountain time. Concessions open, music, and of course- a disco ball! 🪩 Disco balls make any day better!

With the time change coming and winter about to set in too soon, here are our new hours ⏰. As always, we will make an appointment time for drop off and pick up to keep things running smoothly. This ensures all the pets in our care get the love, attention, & exercise they want and if lucky, my family might even get a hot dinner regularly 😉🍲 Thank you!
