$550 raised already. 🥹❤️🐾

I just want to stop for a minute and say THANK YOU to every single person who has donated, shared our fundraiser, commented, sent encouragement, or helped get the word out about Belly Rub Ranch.

We have already raised $550, and I cannot tell you how much that means to us.

When you’re caring for rescued animals every single day, expenses never really stop. Electricity, food, litter, drinking water, flea prevention, medications, cleaning supplies, pig care, vet bills… it adds up so quickly.

So seeing people step up and say, “We want to help you take care of them,” means more than you probably realize.

Every dollar is helping us keep these animals cool, fed, hydrated, healthy, safe and loved.

We still have a long way to go, but today I just really wanted to say thank you.

I hate asking for help. I really do. ❤️

But Belly Rub Ranch Rescue has grown into something that we simply cannot carry alone anymore.

Our electric bill here at the rescue is around $700 every month because we’re running AC 24/7 in our kennel and cat areas to keep the animals safe and comfortable in this Florida heat.

And that’s just one expense.

Because our property is on well water and we don’t currently have a reverse-osmosis system, we also purchase drinking water for the dogs and cats. We have 18 large water jugs delivered at a time, costing us about $159 every other week, because we want the animals drinking good-quality water every day.

Then there’s dog food, cat food and litter, pig food and routine hoof/nail and tusk care, flea and parasite prevention, medications, cleaning and sanitation supplies, veterinary needs, and all of the everyday expenses that come with caring for rescued animals 365 days a year.

So we finally created a fundraiser to help us keep Belly Rub Ranch running. 🐾❤️

Just our electricity works out to roughly $23 per day.

If 30 people donated $23, that would cover almost an entire month of electricity for the rescue.

Every donation — whether it’s $5, $23, $50 or more — helps pay for the very real, everyday things these animals need to be healthy, comfortable and cared for.

Asking for help is hard for me, but I’m realizing more and more that rescue truly takes a village — and I’m so thankful for ours.

There are so many sweet souls here at Belly Rub Ranch Rescue waiting for their chance at a forever home. 🐾❤️

Some were abandoned. Some were neglected. Some were sick, injured, or simply unwanted. But every single one of them is deserving of love, safety, and a family to call their own.

When Trixie first arrived, she was underweight, neglected, and fighting a painful skin infection.
Now she spends her days loving every dog that walks through our doors. She’s patient, gentle, protective, and somehow always knows who needs her most. 🤍

Meet Phoenix ❤️ She came to us with the name Ding Ding but we have decided to rename her 🐦‍🔥 She is so strong and resilient. Her appetite is good and she’s improving every day 🐾
