Well… that didn’t take long! 😂🐾

Bailey, now Maci, went home with the Zalanyi family last week, and apparently she wasted NO time getting everyone properly trained! 🤣

Mom and Dad may think they’re training Maci, but in less than a week, she has already taught them that she sleeps in the big bed. 😂❤️

Sounds like typical Frenchie behavior to me… move in, look adorable, take over the house, and somehow convince everyone that it was their idea! 🐾👑

Congratulations to the Zalanyi family! We couldn’t be happier for sweet Maci. We know she has a lifetime full of love, spoiling, cuddles, and wonderful adventures ahead of her.

As a breeder, this case has really hit home for me. My heart absolutely breaks for these poor animals and for everything they have endured. They deserved better, and I’m grateful they are now getting the care they desperately needed.

But I also can’t help thinking about the human side of this tragedy. From everything being shared, this was a woman who was once a respected breeder and someone people trusted with their animals. To see a person deteriorate to this point makes me wonder what happened in her life and mental health that brought her here.

What happened to these animals should never be excused or minimized. But accountability and compassion can exist at the same time. Sometimes severe mental illness or a mental breakdown can turn someone into a person even those closest to them no longer recognize.

As breeders, we dedicate so much of our lives to our animals, and this case is a heartbreaking reminder that we also need to look out for one another. If we see someone struggling, becoming overwhelmed, or unable to properly care for their animals, we need to speak up and step in before it reaches a point like this.

My heart goes out to every one of these animals, and I also hope this woman gets the help she clearly needs. This entire situation is just incredibly sad. 💔

She is absolutely adorable, with the sweetest expression, those gorgeous ears, and a personality that makes you fall in love with her. ❤️
