It’s hard to create a joyful connection when your dearest doggo is suffering from chronic pain. That is why West Paw recently became certified!

Evie Tummon, Head Nurse at , talks about how to create fun, engaging ways to bond with your pet dealing with osteoarthritis:

“Mental stimulation is such an important part when it comes to the multimodal approach to managing OA. Great enrichment toys for your dog are perfect if they are unable to exercise in a way they used to. Puzzle feeding is a very fun and exciting way to engage with your pet, especially when they may not be able to exercise or play in ways that they used to. Providing a nonslip surface and incorporating a West Paw puzzle game into their routine can be a game-changer! The puzzle toys are great even for those who like to have a good chew, they’re really robust!”

Look at this beautiful boy! His name is Bleu, and he needs a loving home 🐾

He is a purebred intact male Great Dane that is roughly 10-11 months old. Both of his parents were on the larger side, so this boy will be big!

Bleu knows the commands: down, off, easy, and paw. He is sport dog collar trained with containment, and is up to date on medical.

Bleu is a sweet and loving boy! He is currently living with some farm animals, and it is not the best fit for him as he is a bit too wild with the chickens and baby goats. He is great with other dogs, cats, cattle, turkeys, and full size goats.
His current foster parents are looking for someone that will love him furever, so of course we are trying to help!

Bleu is located in Naples, FL. Please let me know if you have any questions about him, and I can get you in touch with his current foster parents!
