A little life update 🤍

Starting in September, My boyfriend and I will be officially moving to Hoffman Estates after being given the amazing opportunity to take over his parents’ home while they retire in Ecuador. 🏡✨

Because of this new chapter, I’ll be adjusting my grooming schedule beginning in September. I will no longer be working Thursdays and will only be accepting Saturday & Sunday appointments once a month by request only.

‼️Weekend appointments will no longer be available to book online — please message me directly to schedule‼️

This change is to help create a better work/life balance during this transition ☺️

We’ll also be welcoming Neela — my boyfriend and his family’s dog — into our little pack 🐾 My dogs are so excited to finally have a backyard and gain another sister🐶✨

One of the most important parts of any grooming appointment starts before the bath, haircut, or nail trim even begins — the consultation. 🐾

Having a thorough conversation beforehand helps us both get on the same page about your dog’s needs, your expectations, coat condition, maintenance, behavior, and the overall look you’re hoping for. Every dog is different, and communication is key to creating a grooming experience that is safe, comfortable, and successful for everyone involved.

Reference photos, questions, concerns, and honesty about your pup all help your groomer understand exactly what works best for your dog. At the end of the day, we both want the same thing: a happy pup and a happy client. ✂️🤍

Never be afraid to ask questions or discuss goals before the groom begins — it truly makes all the difference.

Not every dog enjoys a busy salon environment — and that’s okay. 🤍

Think about it this way… as people, not all of us enjoy being around large groups, loud environments, or certain personalities. Some people feel overwhelmed, anxious, or uncomfortable in those situations and prefer quieter, calmer spaces. Dogs are no different.

Some dogs thrive in social environments, while others may need one-on-one attention, no distractions, or no other dogs present during their grooming appointments in order to feel safe and comfortable. That does NOT make them “bad” dogs. It simply means they have different emotional needs.

As someone who owns a dog that is sometimes reactive toward other dogs, I completely understand the importance of advocating for your pet and taking special precautions to avoid putting them in uncomfortable situations. Because of that, I have a deep understanding and patience for dogs who need a little extra support during grooming.

I proudly cater to dogs that need quieter appointments, slower introductions, extra patience, and individualized care. Every dog deserves to feel safe, respected, and comfortable during their grooming experience — even if that means they require a little more special treatment than others.

At the end of the day, grooming should never be a “one size fits all” experience. 🐾

It’s been a little while since I last posted, and so much has changed! 🐾

I took a full week off to visit family, and coming back to such a busy schedule truly reminded me how grateful I am for all of you. Your continued support means everything and keeps me doing what I love every day 🤍

We’ve also had some exciting updates over here — we welcomed a new bather and another groomer to the team! Our bather has been doing amazing and has been such a huge help, allowing me to open up more availability and get your pups in sooner.

Appointments are filling up quickly, so if your pup needs a groom before the holidays and travel plans begin, now is the time to book! 🐾✂️

I will be out of town April 1–7 celebrating my birthday and visiting family in Florida. ☀️🎂

As of right now, I only have ONE appointment left the week I return — April 9th, and I am fully booked until April 14th.
