Napa Valley Dog Training Club

Napa Valley Dog Training Club Organized in 1970, the Napa Valley Dog Training Club, Inc. is a Nonprofit Corp. and licensed by AKC. NVDTC Club membership is open to anyone. Visitors are welcome.

Established in 1970, the Napa Valley Dog Training Club (NVDTC) is a volunteer run nonprofit organization. We have two main goals: First, to promote responsible pet ownership by offering affordable training classes to the community. Second, to provide advanced training to those individuals interested in showing and competing with their dogs in trials to earn titles. At our General Meetings, held t

he 2nd Monday of each month at 6:30pm, interested individuals can join. Members who attend General Meetings receive a $10 coupon that can be used on training class fees. All club members receive a $10 discount on classes each session. http://www.nvdtc.org/membership/

The NVDTC offers training classes year-round from entry thru advanced levels. Our experienced instructors and assistants want to help you reach your training goals. Please call our office or connect via email several days before arriving. You can leave a message at 707-253-8666 or [email protected] and include your phone number, a little information about your dog and what level of training you are seeking. Our volunteers will connect with you as soon as possible.

We are excited for the return of BEGINNING FREESTYLE MOVES on Tuesday nights with Judy Gamet, CPDT-KA and owner of Dogs Can Dance, LLC.

The class welcomes teams at all levels of experience and training. Its appropriate for 6 month old puppies through senior dogs.

Class is limited to 6 teams and runs 6-weeks. Planned for 4:20pm at our indoor facility with plenty of onsite parking too. (NVDTC members receive $10 off.)

🐾🍷 What a great day at Wags & W**e! 🍷🐾

Napa Valley Dog Training Club had such a wonderful time being part of this event! We loved meeting fellow dog lovers, sharing information about our club and training classes, and showing off a few fun training tricks. 🐶💙

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, entered our raffle, chatted with us, and supported NVDTC. We’re so grateful to be part of such a fun community event!

Let’s celebrate some amazing accomplishments from our club members and their dogs! Congratulations to everyone for all of their hard work and dedication! 👏

🐾 Lori Jackson & Cole
Cole earned his AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) in Mary Ash’s recent class! 🎓🐶

🐾 Carol Coawette & Pierre (pictured below)
Pierre has been on a roll! In June, he completed his AKC Scent Work Master Elite title and took 1st Place! 🥇 He also added additional Elite legs toward his titles, including 10 legs in Novice Interior and Advanced Container.

In August, Pierre earned his AKC Detective title, AKC Elite Master Interior title, and AKC Elite Master title! 🏆🏆🏆

In June, Louie earned an AKC Scent Work Master Container leg, and in August he achieved another Q in AKC Master Container! 🎉

We have 2 fun classes planned for Session 6 !

DINING OUT is favorite with families. The class helps owners prepare and problem solve ways to help their dog be successful in dining locations. Planned for Fridays at 11:30am starting September 11th and running thru October 16th. This class includes 3 field trips to locations in Napa.

The return of the CANINE GOOD CITIZEN class on Tuesdays at 12/noon starting September 15th. Participants will be offered the AKC evaluation on the last week of class.
