🌟 Pet of the Month: Bud 🌟

Meet Bud, our June Pet of the Month! 🐾

Bud is a 3-year-old Lab who was adopted in December 2025. Shortly after adoption, his family learned he was living with hip and elbow dysplasia along with advanced arthritis. Wanting to give him the best quality of life possible, they committed to hydrotherapy and at-home exercises — and the transformation has been incredible.

“Since starting rehab we’ve seen improvement with Bud’s strength, stamina, confidence, and mobility. He is truly a night and day difference from where we started to today.”

One of Bud’s biggest milestones? He can now enjoy 30-minute walks! Before rehab, even a 5–10 minute walk was a struggle. Now he’s able to explore more of the world with confidence!

When asked what Bud loves most about rehab visits, the answer was easy:
“Snacks and the friendly staff!”

His family shared this advice for other pet owners considering rehab:
“This is an investment in your pet that, if you take seriously, will truly improve their quality of life.”

Loki has such a positive and happy attitude every time he comes to rehab! His amazing spirit, along with the dedication of his parents, is a huge part of why he has improved so much.

We are so excited to share his journey with you and show that progress does not always have to plateau. We look forward to continuing to help Loki improve, stay active, and live his best life.

Loki comes to our Garden City location for acupuncture, in-house exercise sessions, under water treadmill, massage and manual therapy. We will continue posting updates to share his progress with you along the way!

Loca is a 5-year-old brindle and white mixed-breed sweetheart who is currently 5 weeks post-surgical hemilaminectomy. A hemilaminectomy is a spinal surgery performed to relieve pressure on the spinal cord, often after a disc injury that causes pain, weakness, or paralysis.

Last week when we met Loca, she could barely move her tail. Even though we have just started working with her, we already love helping her improve. As you can see from her underwater treadmill video, she is now happily wagging her tail! ❤️

We think she loves her bumblebee life jacket and spending time with all her new friends cheering her on.

Loca comes to PetMotion Garden City for acupuncture, exercise therapy, and underwater treadmill. In the treadmill, Marion, one of our rehabilitation technicians, helps place Loca’s feet to encourage her nerves and muscles to fire properly and rebuild those important movement patterns.

We are so excited to be part of Loca’s journey, and we will continue to keep you updated on her progress!

Our first week at our NEW Garden City location was a success! 🎉

We still need to get a few pictures on the walls, but that did not stop our patients from enjoying the new exercise space and larger underwater treadmill! We are so excited to continue growing and serving more pets throughout the Treasure Valley.

We are currently accepting new appointments and would love to meet your fur babies! 🐾 We offer individualized exercise plans, therapeutic laser, shockwave therapy, acupuncture, and underwater treadmill therapy at both of our locations.

We will also be hosting our Open House on Saturday, June 13th, and everyone is welcome! But you do not have to wait until June to come see us — we would love to help your pet stay active, comfortable, and enjoying life this summer. ☀️💙

Bittersweet but so exciting 🐾

One team, one mission, and one building that started it all. As we get ready to branch into two locations, we’re so thankful for every patient, client, referral partner, and team member who helped us grow to this point.

Big things are happening for PetMotion Vet Rehab — and while our team may be splitting between locations soon, the heart behind what we do stays the same. 🐾

Dr. Pryde and Lyndsey will be at Garden City full time and Dr. LeFave, Marion and Amaya will be rotating through it for now!
