🚨 NO-SHOW POLICY REMINDER 🚨
We’ve been pretty understanding about missed appointments in the past, but unfortunately, we’ve had an increase in no-shows. Going forward, we will be strictly enforcing our no-show fees.
When you book an appointment, that time is reserved specifically for your dog. A no-show leaves an empty spot in our day that we usually cannot fill at the last minute.
🐾 No-show fees are $25–$60 depending on the breed and appointment.
The fee will need to be paid before another appointment can be scheduled.
We absolutely understand that emergencies and unexpected situations happen. ❤️ If you can’t make your appointment, please just communicate with us and give us as much notice as possible.
We appreciate everyone who respects our time and supports our small business. 🐶✂️💜

🌞🐾 Heat & Wildfire Smoke Safety for Your Pets 🐾🌫️
The heat and smoky air have made it uncomfortable for all of us, but it can be especially dangerous for our pets.
Here are a few ways to help keep them safe:
🐾 Walk your dog early in the morning or later in the evening when it's cooler. 💧 Keep plenty of fresh, cool water available at all times. 🏡 Limit outdoor time and keep pets indoors as much as possible when the air is smoky. 🌡️ Never leave your pet in a parked car—not even for a minute. 🔥 Check the pavement before walks. If it's too hot for your hand, it's too hot for their paws. 🌬️ Keep windows closed during smoky conditions and use air conditioning or an air purifier if you have one. 🎾 Give your pets indoor enrichment with toys, training, or puzzle games instead of long outdoor play sessions.
⚠️ Watch for signs of heat exhaustion or smoke irritation: • Excessive panting • Difficulty breathing or coughing • Weakness or lethargy • Bright red gums • Vomiting or collapse
If you notice any of these signs, move your pet to a cool place, offer water, and contact your veterinarian right away.

As you celebrate, please remember that fireworks can be frightening for our furry friends. 🐾 • Keep pets safely indoors whenever possible. • Make sure they have a secure collar with a current ID tag. • Double-check that gates and doors are closed. • Give them a quiet, comfortable place to relax during the festivities.
A simple name tag can make all the difference if a scared pet gets loose.

☀️ Summer Dog Walking Tip ☀️
Hot weather can be dangerous for dogs, even on a short walk.
🐾 Walk early in the morning or later in the evening when temperatures are cooler. 🐾 Test the pavement with the back of your hand for 7 seconds. If it's too hot for your hand, it's too hot for your dog's paws. 🐾 Bring fresh water and take breaks in the shade. 🐾 Watch for signs of heat exhaustion: excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or confusion. 🐾 Remember—dogs can overheat much faster than we do.
A safe walk is a happy walk! Keep your best friend cool, hydrated, and protected all summer long. 🐶💙

A matted coat isn't just a bad hair day—it can be painful and even dangerous for your dog.
Severe matting can: ✂️ Pull tightly on the skin with every movement. 🩹 Hide sores, hot spots, lumps, fleas, and ticks. 🌡️ Trap moisture, leading to skin infections. 🚫 Restrict movement around the legs, ears, and tail. ❤️ Cause constant discomfort that many dogs quietly endure.
Regular grooming isn't just about keeping your pup looking cute—it's an important part of their overall health and comfort.
Every dog's grooming schedule is different, but most long-haired and curly-coated breeds benefit from professional grooming every 4–8 weeks, along with regular brushing at home.

To help keep our day running smoothly and ensure all pets are comfortable, we ask that pets be picked up within 1 hour of being finished with their grooming appointment.
We will always call or text as soon as your pet is ready. Pets remaining longer than 1 hour may be subject to a daycare fee.
