A lot of people think dreams happen all at once.
They don't.

Most dreams happen because of a bunch of small decisions made over time.

Years ago, I had a vision for where I wanted my life with horses to go. Life took some unexpected turns. Some dreams changed. Some got put on the back burner. Some took a lot longer than I thought they would.
But I never completely let them go.

Welcome to the family Queen of Hearts! The beginning of big things to come in a little package.

A reminder that you don't have to have the whole path figured out. You just have to keep taking the next step.

Big things are ahead for this little girl, and I'm excited to have you follow along on the journey. ❤️

Life has a way of testing our hearts. It can make us want to build walls, stop caring, or hold back parts of ourselves.

Don't.

The world doesn't need more people pretending to be something they're not. It needs more people who are willing to stay real, stay kind, and stay true to who they are.

Never apologize for being one of them.

If your looking for a coach to help you move forward with your horse, I'd love to connect and see if we are a fit to work together. Comment "Me" if you'd like to begin that conversation.

This is why we fell in love with horses in the first place.

If you want your horse to enjoy being with you as much as they enjoy being with each other, let’s connect and see if we’re a good fit to work together.

Coaching virtually, right from the comfort of your own arena.

Your horse’s behavior is communication.

Resistance, hesitation, tension, rushing, pulling away, shutting down, hard to catch behavior, and inconsistency are often signs that something in the communication is breaking down.

The Horse Human Relationship Program helps horse owners better understand what their horse is actually saying so they can respond with more clarity, consistency, and understanding both on the ground and under saddle.

Through live coaching, practical exercises, video feedback, and direct support, you’ll learn how to improve communication in a way that creates lasting change instead of temporary fixes.

Enrollment is open through June 14th.

If this feels like the kind of horsemanship you’ve been looking for, I’d love to see if we’re the right fit to work together.

Horses are always reading more than the cue itself.

This 23 year old gelding had never learned to target an object before this. In less than 10 sessions, he was already beginning to understand and search for the answer confidently.

Not because of force.
Not because he was drilled endlessly.
Because the communication made sense to him.

Science shows horses pay close attention to emotional tone, intention, timing, and energy. They aren’t just responding to words. They’re responding to the clarity and consistency behind them.

When we slow down enough to work with the horse in front of us instead of against them, learning starts happening much faster and with far less resistance.

They’re always reading you.

If you’re wanting help better understanding your horse and improving your communication together, comment “virtual” and let’s chat about working together.

Gravy found a stick. Sky said "that's mine now."
Gravy disagreed. 😂

This is what play looks like between two horses that are always getting into shenanigans... and it's one of the ways they build real bonds with each other. These two always had it.

Sky always reminded me to have fun, because if learning wasn't fun - he'd peace out. More pressure = more reaction, but turn that education into a game = calm learning + more effort.

Don't forget to bring the fun into your work - it's why we got into horses in the first place. For the love of the horse 💗🐴

Building a business online has honestly been one of the hardest learning curves I’ve faced.

For 15 years, my work happened mostly in person. One horse and one human at a time. Quiet conversations. One lesson after another. Watching patterns unfold over time. Helping people understand what their horse was actually trying to communicate.

Back then, I never thought about content, algorithms, before and after videos, or proving myself online.

Now everything is digital. And with so much information everywhere, I understand why people struggle to know who to trust.

One of the biggest challenges for me has been learning how to share what I do without sounding like I think I know everything. Because I don’t.

What I do have is years of experience with many different horses, many different people, and a deep care for helping both feel understood instead of frustrated.

That’s a big part of why I spent most of the past year building the Horse Human Relationship Program.

Over time, I started noticing similar patterns underneath so many horse behaviors. Not just “problems” to fix, but communication gaps between horse and human. Confusion. Tension. Timing. Overwhelm. Humans second guessing themselves. Horses reacting to pressure they don’t fully understand.

What I’ve learned is that every horse human pair needs a structured path while still allowing flexibility for their individual journey. Not a cookie cutter formula, but learning how to use your own instincts and trust what you’re building with your horse.

My role is not to overpower the horse or pretend I have all the answers. It’s to help people slow down enough to really see what’s happening, understand what their horse is communicating, and learn how to respond more clearly and calmly in return.

Sometimes that means thinking outside the box. Sometimes it means changing the timing, the pressure, the environment, or even the person’s mindset while also supporting the horse mentally and physically.

I’m still learning how to communicate all of this online in a way that feels honest and genuine while also building a business that supports my family financially. That balance has been hard.

But this work matters deeply to me.

Because I believe horse owners are capable of far more connection, clarity, and confidence than they’ve been led to believe. And I believe horses change when they finally feel understood instead of managed.

If something in you feels like there has to be a better way forward with your horse, trust that feeling. You’re probably a lot closer than you think.

Sometimes the biggest change happens after the session ends.

When we slow down enough to give the horse time to process, respond, and just be, we start to notice how much they’re actually trying to communicate with us.

Timing isn’t only about the release. It’s also about knowing when to wait, when to not increase pressure but to hold the intention without escalating, and to begin again with greater clarity.

If you’re wanting to improve your timing, feel, positioning, and communication with your horse, I’d love to chat and see if we’re a good fit to work together.

Seven years ago, this was a dream come true for me.

Driving my mini boys as a team was something I had wanted for a very long time, and this video was the result of finally taking the steps to make it happen. Not all at once. Not perfectly. Just one step at a time.

I think sometimes we stop ourselves because the dream feels too big. We look at the whole picture instead of focusing on the step right in front of us.

Life changes. Seasons change. Some dreams get put on pause for a while. But that does not make the dream any less real or the progress any less meaningful.

This video reminded me that so many things we hope for are built slowly through small consistent effort.

You do not have to have your entire future figured out today. Just take the next step in front of you.
That is how dreams are built.

Comment “dream” if there’s something you’ve been wanting to do with your horse but haven’t started yet.

And if you need guidance, support, or a coach to help you move toward your horsemanship goals, my virtual lessons are always open.

There’s something about a horse that reaches parts of us nothing else can.

They respond honestly to who we are, how we show up, and how we communicate.

That relationship is what I care deeply about.

If you’ve been wanting a deeper connection with your horse, more softness, better communication, or help working through behaviors from the root, I offer virtual lessons you can do right from home with your phone.

Comment "Me" Let's chat and see if we are a fit to work together.
