AN UNPLANNED LITTER:
I (Linda) am expecting an unplanned litter of puppies. The parents are my show line border collie and our red and white cavapoo. This pic of puppies is an AI depiction of what the mixture between these two parents should look like according to CHAT GPT.
Billie, my female border collie, was scheduled to get spayed. Then, unbeknown to me, she came into heat and the inevitable happened 3 days before her spay was scheduled. Some of you know what my family has been going through, and will realize how her heat went unnoticed. For the rest, I hope there will be no judgement. Anyway, I discussed a spay/abort with another vet but could not go through with it because of the "abort" part. Neither could my husband. So we cancelled our planned November roadtrip until hopefully after these puppies go to their new homes.
Billie (pictured) is not a working line border collie and is not high drive like most border collies. She is very obedient and has traveled well across the country with us staying inn motels and new places. She barks if someone is walking past the house or into our yard and is a very good girl.
Kendrick (pictured) is a very sweet little velcro dog. He is a fast learner, like Billie, and he is not a barker unless there is another dog going by. He loves to play fetch and will bring the ball back to you for more and more and more..
These puppies should be good candidates for therapy pet or service dog accreditation.
The puppies should mature around 30 lb. and may NOT be doodle-like in appearance at maturity because the mixture is 1/2 border collie, 1/4 cavalier king charles spaniel, 1/4 mini poodle. They should all be red and white. Both parents have been genetically health tested. Puppies should be ready to leave approximately January 3, 2027 so , while they may not be ready for Christmas, you could wrap a stuffed animal and a photo of the puppy and explain the puppy cannot leave Mom until after the holidays. That should extend the holiday excitement for your kiddo(s).
I am posting this to my FB page first in case someone I know has been or knows someone who has been looking for a puppy at a reasonable price. I asked Chat what the local average price a rescue charges for a puppy so I could keep the price reasonable in comparison. I'm not posting a price on this page so don't ask me publically please, but it is 1/4 of what we charge for our doodle puppies. They will be well socialized, used to going potty outdoors to make housebreaking go more smoothly, dewormed multiple times, vet checked, microchipped, vaccinated with first vaccination. You will receive: the vet record for your puppy, a sample of puppy food, and one month free Trupanion Puppy Insurance. With genetically health-tested parents and the vet check up, you should receive a very healthy puppy. I will require a small nonrefundable deposit to hold a spot and will take 5 deposits. She doesn't usually have huge litters and I'm hoping she sticks to that.
