That’s a wrap on the National Weekend!! I’m tired. The dogs are tired. But great times were had by all.
Risk earned his BCat and set a new PB of 24.6 mph on the fastcat field. He also set a new Best of 19’9” off the dock, tying him for first for farthest distance jump in the Senior division. He says Thank you Jill for the beautiful ribbon! This earned him an invitation to regionals! He also made the cut on Sunday for breed out of a wonderful line up of dogs, no placement, but I consider it an honor for a dog who only shows now and again.
Calliope took 2nd in her class on Fridays national day with Alison and looked spectacular. She enjoyed running her heart out on the fastcat field working her way towards a DCat. And she hopped off the dock a few times.
Spite took a Puppy group 3 and 4. He’s definitely getting the puppy wiggles, and was very tired by Sunday but he is still enjoying himself. Even being handed off on Saturday. He is anxiously awaiting the day he is old enough to compete in sports too.
