We have been dog owners and off and on pet sitters for 30 years. It shouldn't cost you a fortune for someone to watch your pet while you are away, amen? The main service we offer is 24-hour dog boarding in our home for only $25 per dog night. Additional dogs would be $20 each.
Not only do we charge very modest rates, there is always someone at our house to spend time with your dog. We have a very large screened-in back porch for your dog to hang out on sometimes without always being couped up in the house or outside in the hot sun (we also have plenty of shade) and we have a 6 ft. privacy fence around our entire backyard where they can have easy access to through a screen door.
We absolutely love all dogs but we really cannot take anything over 40 lbs(some exceptions possible, text for details) or any aggressive ones, especially dogs that may attack other dogs or people. We are actually okay with dogs that are not perfectly house-trained because we know when they're away from home, they can have accidents due to a strange surrounding. We don't have carpet so cleaning up is no big deal. In our previous experience pet sitting where we used to live, even the most house-trained dog would often have occasional accidents. We will love your dog like it's our own and our own cannot wait to meet yours!
Our puppy rate is $40 but that is because we limit the number of dogs we have down to either one or two when we have a puppy because they are so high energy and tend to often irritate other dogs wanting to play and if the other dogs are adults, they often get irritated with the puppy. That often causes a conflict. We are not anti-puppy but it just is a lot more work.
I am a stay-at-home wife and mom and my two adult sons also live here so there is always going to be someone here to keep an eye on your dog.
We will let your dogs out as frequently as needed because it's an easy slide of the glass sliding door and the rest is easy. We do not take more than three dogs at a time unless they are all reasonably small and then maybe we can make exceptions.
We do ask that you bring your dog's food and please write down a list of any particulars about your dog as far as sleep habits, eating habits or anything else.
