Update on our beloved Ricky, the stray found at a recycle center with horrendous cancer on both ears. Both ears were removed.
He is doing well. He is recovering at the home of the Aults who are showering him with love. They have decided he can stay with them forever and continue making air biscuits.
He hates the donut but is eating some and using the litter box.

How about a little humor today….toe beans and little lapping tongues.

Ricky needs all your prayers today, he is going into surgery at the Sound Cat in Wilmington NC this morning to remove the cancer from his ears and skull area. He is the sweetest, biscuit making old man. I'll update as soon as he is in recovery.
This surgery is going to be VERY expensive. Please help us out😻

We are helping a friend of the Sanctuary find a home for Pumpkin. She was brought into their home and their other cats are not accepting her.
She is a wonderful cat who will be a great companion. She is strictly an indoor cat.

A dear friend of the local cat community needs help to get her sister’s cat adopted ASAP. Her sister passed away suddenly. Please consider adopting Tiger! She is such a wonderful cat.

This little moo cow kitten will be in our care this week. We are calling him Smudge. He’s only 6 to 8 weeks old.

His adoption fee will be $125 (includes neutering when older, vaccinations, microchip, worming)
Adopt from Whiskers Animal Sanctuary and Rescue in Loris SC. Close to Myrtle Beach and Conway.
We are open by appointment only. Closed on Sundays.

UPDATE: owner of this magnificent cat calls us that she wants to surrender her cat. Due to her sounding so indifferent and cold about giving him up we stopped what we were doing to start trying to get him a home. We got him a fantastic home! The day the owner was to bring him to us, she tells us “I’ve changed my mind”.
We go out of our way to help rehome cats. But think through your request carefully and don’t waste our time and put us in a horrible position by having to call the family that wants this cat that you changed your mind.

This stunning boy is being surrendered to our care in the next day or two.
His name is Theo. Almost 2 years old. Neutered, litter box trained and up to date on vaccines. Coming from a home where he was the only pet. Family is expecting a baby and can not care for him any longer. He is said to be shy.
Adoption fee $200.
