Ranger is believed to be in his 20s and is the definition of a good, honest horse. He is child broke, beginner friendly, and about as close to “dead broke” as they come. If you’re looking for a horse that anyone can climb on and enjoy or just looking for a pasture pet, Ranger is your guy.

A little backstory on Ranger: I got him from a friend of a friend when he was in rough shape and underweight. He has put his weight back on and is looking and feeling much better. Based on the way he handles himself, I’m pretty sure he spent time as a ranch horse in his younger years.

Ranger has a kind, gentle disposition and is easy to be around. He stands quietly for the farrier, stands still to be mounted, and is content to go wherever you point him. He’s the type that takes care of his rider and doesn’t need to be ridden every day.

Whether you’re looking for a horse for the grandkids, a confidence builder, a trail companion, or simply a pasture pet to love on, Ranger fits the bill.
