The Doberman gang is too much for Bruce and Charli. The Dobermans are Lilli and Tessa, they’re about the same age, a year old and belong to different families. They play like this at every group outing.
I know I’m getting older, because their energy is not my cup of tea anymore.

Meet my newest Boot Camp student “Meiomi”. She’s a Golden Retriever and she’s the wild type. I know you can’t see it from this video, but she was a committed leash puller, jumper and an overall chaos ensuer.

Glad the worst is behind us now. Life is much better with a well behaved dog and I can’t wait to teach Meiomi’s owner all the new stuff.

Tucker, the super dog reactive Aussie has officially graduated from the Behavioral Rehabilitation Boot Camp and I can say the same about his owners. Tonight was our last follow up here on our property and after they left they took him to Waterside.

I’m so proud of them all. They trusted the process and everyone in the family put the work. This was no accident. Tucker can now go places and enjoy his life filled with adventures because he can be trusted to make good choices. He’s grown tremendously in a short amount of time, he wanted the change, his team of humans just didn’t know the steps of helping him unlock his potential.

Meet “Melvin” a Berniedoodle here for Boot Camp. Melvin is almost a year old and he’s in desperate need of manners. Jumping, pulling, selective hearing, to name a few. He’s a sweet and willing dog and a quick learner.
Here is a short video from his second lesson with me tonight, where he’s picked up the idea of walking next to me, at ‘heel’, no longer pulling and being calm. I love a smart and easy for me student. The smart part is what makes dogs difficult at home but when they learn what’s expected of them and we provide clear boundaries, the relationship straightens out and most dogs fall in line rather quickly. Melvin is one of those dogs and we’ll have a week long fun experience.

Bruce and Charlie. Charlie is a miniature long haired Dachshund and she’s the sister of our favorite Max the Dax, a standard sized Dachshund. Every time they come to drop off or pick up Max for boarding we try to take a photo of these two together. This is a good as it gets. 🤪
