This isn’t to be picky or difficult, it’s to protect the other pets in our salon. 🐾

Some dogs have severe reactions to fleas, and we do not want to risk spreading them throughout our facility. We ask that all pets arrive flea-free for their appointments.

Grooming salons are not the proper place to treat flea infestations. Flea shampoos only kill the fleas currently on the pet and do not provide lasting prevention. That means once your dog leaves the salon, they can quickly pick up fleas again if the source has not been treated.

What should you do instead?
✔️ Keep your pet on a veterinarian-approved flea prevention program
✔️ Treat your home, yard, vehicle, bedding, crates, and other shared spaces
✔️ Address the source of the infestation before scheduling grooming appointments
