π§οΈβοΈβοΈ OKLAHOMA WEATHER & GROOMING APPOINTMENTS πΎ
As we head into Oklahoma's unpredictable fall storm season, rainy days, and eventually winter weather, we want to remind our clients to please plan ahead when it comes to grooming appointments!
We understand that Oklahoma weather can be unpredictable, but we ask that you keep an eye on the forecast and communicate with us as early as possible if you think the weather may prevent you from making your appointment.
πΎ A few important reminders:
π§οΈ Rainy or soggy weather is not considered an emergency. If it's simply raining, muddy, cold, or inconvenient to get out, our regular cancellation and no-show policies will still apply.
βοΈ Severe weather is different. We absolutely understand that dangerous storms, tornado warnings, flooding, icy roads, and other genuinely hazardous conditions can make traveling unsafe. These situations will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
π
Our 24-hour cancellation policy remains in effect year-round, including during unfavorable weather.
π« Please do not wait until the night before or the morning of your appointment to cancel because rain or winter weather has been in the forecast for several days. And PLEASE do not simply no-show!
β€οΈ Why does this matter?
Our groomers work by appointment, and their income depends on the dogs scheduled for them. When someone cancels at the last minute or doesn't show up, that groomer loses income they were counting on. Those appointments are also difficult, if not impossible, to fill on short notice.
We will never expect anyone to put themselves or their pets in danger to make a grooming appointment. However, there is a big difference between genuinely dangerous weather and simply not wanting to get out because it's wet, muddy, or chilly.
We appreciate your understanding, consideration, and respect for our groomers' time and livelihoods.
Thank you for supporting our small business! πΎβ€οΈ
