Rocco has officially discovered that he is, in fact, a dog.

And honestly? Weā€™re just as shocked as he is.

When 4-year-old Rocco first arrived, he was a very serious little man. Having spent his previous life as a breeder dog, he had absolutely no idea what this whole ā€œbeing a petā€ thing was about.

Playing? Absolutely not.
Toys? Questionable.
Having fun? Sounds like a waste of company time.

Rocco spent most of his days staring at us like a tiny, disgruntled supervisor who was deeply disappointed in everyoneā€™s work ethic.

But lately, something incredible has happened.

ROCCO HAS LEARNED HOW TO PLAY

Yes. Our little grumpy man has discovered that life is actually pretty fun! Heā€™s starting to loosen up, show off his goofy side, and figure out that life doesnā€™t have to be so serious all the time.

Wellā€¦ most of the time.

Because while Rocco may have discovered the joys of being a dog, he still approaches life with the facial expression of a man who has just been informed his property taxes are going up.

And we absolutely adore him for it.

The more comfortable Rocco gets, the more his hilarious little personality comes out. He is genuinely one of the funniest dogs, and half the time he isnā€™t even trying to be funny. Heā€™s just Rocco. A tiny, serious gentleman slowly discovering that he is allowed to have fun.

Heā€™s still learning, though. Years of living as a breeder dog donā€™t disappear overnight. New experiences can still be confusing, and he needs a family who understands that heā€™s figuring out a whole new world.

Rocco has learned to enjoy playing with other dogs, but he still prefers slow introductions. Heā€™s not the kind of guy who wants a stranger running up and getting in his personal space. Heā€™d like to get to know you first, thank you very much.

And cats? Still absolutely not. Rocco has reviewed the proposal and will not be approving any feline roommates.

Rocco deserves a home where he can continue discovering all the wonderful things about being a dog. A home where he can be goofy when he wants, serious when he pleases, and loved through every stage of figuring it all out.

Sparrow is still on the search for his forever home!

Sparrow is a 2-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer with a whole lot of energy, a sweet personality, andā€¦ an impressively long neck. Seriously, weā€™re pretty sure he can see into next week.

This handsome boy is full of life and would love a home that can keep up with him. Sparrow has plenty of energy to burn, so an active family who enjoys walks, adventures, playtime, and keeping both his body and brain busy would be a great match. German Shorthaired Pointers are known for being active, intelligent dogs, and Sparrow definitely fits the bill!

When it comes to other dogs, Sparrow seems to be a little selective. However, we also know that the shelter environment can be stressful and doesnā€™t always bring out a dogā€™s true personality. With proper introductions and the right match, things could look completely different outside of the shelter.

What we do know for sure is that Sparrow is a sweet boy who deserves the chance to find his people. Heā€™s young, energetic, goofy, handsome, and ready for a life that includes a lot more adventures and a lot less time in a kennel.
And if youā€™ve always wanted a dog who can reach the top shelf without a step stool, Sparrow may just be your guy

Junior and Mickey have found their forever home TOGETHER!

Some happy endings are extra special, and this is definitely one of them.

As senior dogs with health issues, we know their time may be limited. But that doesnā€™t mean they are any less deserving of a loving home, a soft place to sleep, and a family to call their own.

Thankfully, an incredible couple who have a special place in their hearts for senior dogs saw just how much love these two still have to give. They have made it their mission to give older dogs the love and comfort they deserve, and now Junior and Mickey get to join their little family of seniors!

There is something so beautiful about people who willingly open their hearts to animals knowing their time together may be shorter. They arenā€™t focused on how many years they have left, but on making whatever time they do have as wonderful as possible.

We cannot thank this couple enough for opening their home to not just one, but TWO more seniors with medical needs. Because of them, Junior and Mickey get to spend the rest of their days together, surrounded by love.

No matter how much time they have left, they deserve to spend it knowing they are loved.

Senior dogs deserve happy endings, too. And weā€™re so grateful these two got theirs together.

HOW has no one scooped this boy up yet?! Seriously, can we PLEASE talk about those freaking EARS?!

Stone is estimated to be around 2 years old, and he is genuinely just SUCH a good boy. He loves everyone he meets, likes other dogs, and has the kind of personality that makes you wonder how someone hasnā€™t already fallen head over heels for him. Heā€™s sweet, goofy, smart, and has so much love to give.

Heā€™s also got some energy to burn, so heā€™d love an active family who will take him on adventures, play with him, and give him plenty of opportunities to get those zoomies out. Heā€™s incredibly treat and toy motivated and already knows how to sit and shake! Weā€™re pretty convinced heā€™d learn just about anything if you offered him a snack in return.

But seriously, heā€™s just a happy, loving boy who wants someone to spend his days with. Someone to play with, someone to snuggle up to, and someone who will love him as much as heā€™ll love them.

Someone out there is missing out on a REALLY good dog. And we have a feeling that once they finally meet him, theyā€™re going to wonder how they ever got so lucky.

Come meet Stone. Fall in love with those ridiculous ears. Give this sweet boy the home heā€™s been waiting for.

Boots is still on the search for his forever home!

At just 15 weeks old, Boots has a whole lot of growing, learning, and loving left to do! This playful little guy is full of puppy energy and is always ready for some fun. Whether heā€™s playing with toys, exploring the world around him, or finding new ways to keep everyone entertained, Boots is just enjoying life as a puppy!

But as cute as he is, letā€™s not forget that puppies are a lot of work! Boots is still young and will need a family willing to put in the time, patience, and consistency to help him grow into the best boy he can be. Potty training, learning manners, and figuring out the rules of the house are all part of the puppy package!

Boots would do best in a home where someone is around more often than not. At his age, he needs plenty of attention, guidance, and opportunities to learn. Heā€™s not quite ready to be left alone for long stretches of the day!

Boots has his whole life ahead of him, and weā€™re hoping to find someone who understands that adopting a puppy means committing to all the stages that come with growing up, not just the adorable little puppy phase.
