But that’s not all! Pretzel also scored herself a canine best buddy to share all of life’s adventures with. From new friendships to a forever home filled with love, this big girl’s future is looking pretty pawsome!

Meet Guss, a 6-year-old Shih Tzu gentleman with big opinions and an even bigger personality! Guss is fully housebroken, calm, quiet, and enjoys peaceful living with cats and calm small dogs. Kids aren’t his thing, and he prefers keeping all four paws on the ground—no being picked up, please! He loves his daily walks, appreciates affection on his terms, and will happily follow his favorite human from room to room. IS YOUR DOG BORED? HERE ARE THE SIGNS TO WATCH FOR!

Even our furry friends need mental stimulation and a little excitement in their daily routine! When dogs don’t get enough physical activity, playtime, or enrichment, boredom can start to show in some unexpected ways.

Signs your dog might be bored:
🐾 Sleeping more than usual
🐾 Showing little interest in toys or playtime
🐾 Begging for food more frequently
🐾 Whining, following you everywhere, or constantly seeking attention
🐾 Chewing furniture, digging, or getting into things they shouldn’t

How can you help beat the boredom? Try daily walks, interactive toys, puzzle feeders, short training sessions, sniffing games, or simply spending quality time together! Even a few minutes of enrichment can give your pup something fun to look forward to.

Remember, every dog is different! These behaviors can also have other causes, and a sudden change in energy, appetite, or behavior may warrant a visit to your veterinarian.

Pretzel is big girl has a BIG personality and an even bigger heart! She’s affectionate, loves her people, enjoys wrestling with other dogs, and is wonderful with kids.
