We specialize in a wide variety of high quality foods, we check information from many different sources and then make the choices with you our customer in mind...There is not a one-size-fits-all answer! This is what we believe to be the best approach:
*Feed raw if possible! We believe a well-balanced raw diet is the most biologically appropriate diet for cats and dogs.
* If that is not feasible,
maybe enhancing your pet’s dry kibble by adding some fresh food. Zhuzh it up with goat’s milk, freeze-dried toppers, some prepared raw food or even some fruits and veggies
* When feeding any kibble, always choose a high-quality brand that avoids things like artificial colors, fillers, by-products, or chemical preservatives.
* Mix it up and keep it interesting. You might have to start slow if your dog’s system doesn't tolerate frequent switching. Switch flavors, switch brands, and even consider mixing multiple at once; each will offer a different balance of ingredients and nutrients.
