An exciting update for our grooming department Star Pet Grooming of Muskego!! 😃 Request your pet's grooming appointment @ https://starvetcenters.com/grooming-form-muskego/

🚨WELCOME ANGIE!🚨

We’ve added a new member to the Star Pet Grooming team! Angela (Angie) brings 6 years of professional dog grooming experience to the clinic! She will begin taking clients Tuesday, October 20th. That being said, we are back to accepting ALL new clients. Give us a call at 262-326-3100 to get on her books- we expect them to fill quickly as we head into the holiday season! If you prefer to fill out an online request form for your appointments, be sure to mention her name in your request! As always, new clients get $10 off automatically applied to the invoice of their first groom☺️

In other news- our existing groomer, Alayna is expecting her 3rd child! Due to this, she has some booking restrictions. All new clients over 40lbs (of any breed) will automatically be booked with Angie. Many of our existing clients over 40lbs (with a few exceptions) will also be transitioned over to Angie’s books as well. Smaller breed dogs and cats will still be booked with Alayna! Alayna will be going on leave mid-March and Angie will become the full time groomer for all clients in her absence.

We are so happy to be growing as a small Muskego business and can’t wait to help Angie grow her client base and fill her books up!🤩

Today is . Below are some important facts to know about the Rabies virus.

➡️ Rabies virus is the world's 🌎 deadliest infectious disease. Rabies causes nearly 60,000 human deaths every year, most often in underdeveloped countries. In the United States, fewer than 10 people die from Rabies each year, but there are approximately 4,000 animal Rabies cases reported annually (400-500 of those being domestic animals).

➡️ In recent years, cats 🐈 have become the most common domestic animal infected with Rabies. Although pet owners may believe that their feline friend has a seemingly low risk of exposure to rabid animals, studies show that 75% of the confirmed Rabies cases amongst domestic animals involve cats 🐈‍⬛.

➡️ Rabies virus is 100% preventable! You can help prevent Rabies infections by vaccinating 💉 your pets (especially your cats!) and keeping them away from wildlife that can spread this disease (mainly bats 🦇, skunks 🦨, foxes 🦊, and raccoons 🦝).

Introducing a new treatment option for your pet's lumps and bumps! We are now offering Cryosurgery as an alternative to traditional surgical removal of certain types of skin conditions. This treatment is pain-free and only takes a few minutes, so it can be performed during a regular vet visit!
