**Autumn Park Walk PSA! 🍄🍂🐶**

As the autumn weather cools down and rain rolls in, wild mushrooms start popping up quickly in backyards and along park trails.

While many wild mushrooms are completely harmless, certain varieties can be toxic and make dogs extremely sick if ingested. Because dogs explore the world with their noses and mouths, it's a great habit to do a quick yard sweep before letting your pup out and keep a watchful eye on them during "sniff-walks" along the trail.

If you ever suspect your pet has nibbled on an unknown wild mushroom, snap a quick photo of the mushroom for identification and reach out to a full service vet right away!
