We are asking help for Bennie to get the MRI he so desperately needs. Even if you don't have much money if you could give even $5 it would all add up to save him. Even if you cannot donate if you could just share this post on your page we could get the word out there. I know many of you have met him in the salon and know how wonderfully sweet he is.
The doctors have now taken him off of steroids in hopes of getting the MRI. There is hope. They cannot treat him for GME without an MRI but if he stays on steroids the MRI will not be effective because the steroids will reduce the inflammation. Once GME is confirmed he can get the medication he needs to live a good life. In just the 2 days Bennie was on steroids he is now home from the hospital eating and drinking (alot) on his own with no wobbled gait. The head tremors have also stopped. With GME they will give different meds to help stop the progression. Without steroids if he reverts back to previous symptoms he will have to return to Nashville Pet Specialist.
