Hello everyone! Tennessee Tail Feathers has moved to Davenport Florida!! We will still periodically have babies that can be shipped or picked up but we will obviously no longer be able to bird sit or do grooming for our previous customers. It is possible that we will change our name as we no longer live in Tennessee but that decision has not been made yet. I appreciate everyone that has reached out to me lately for birds and I am sorry that I cannot help you at this time. For anyone looking that did not get a response from me, I recommend you check with Mystic Moon in Mammoth Cave Ky or Amanda at Animal City in Murfreesboro Tn if you are still looking for a new feathered friend.

This is Pretty Bird. We call him Felix too. I took him in a year ago after he had spent a couple years locked in his cage. They loved him, but they had become afraid of him. I have allowed him to learn to fly and live with his cage open since he came to my home. He has gone from a scardy bird to a confident bird. Although we have become friends, I know I am not his person. I want to find his person who makes his heart leap with joy. I want to find him a home where he will not be restrained to a cage again. I will note that he is not completely tame and doesn’t step-up. He flies to me to hang out once in a while, but he mostly keeps to himself. So if he regresses for a while, don’t take it personally because he will come around. We can talk more about him if you think you might be his human. He does come with his cage, food, all of his toys, and his play gym on top of his cage.
