🐶😸If you've been thinking about adding a new furry friend to your family, now's a great time! Visit PAWS today for waived adoption fees on all of our dogs and cats!

🐾🐾We're proud to partner with the ASPCA through The Rescue Effect, a national campaign that helps shelters and rescues connect more animals with loving homes. Every adoption changes two lives—the pet going home and the one who now has space to come into the shelter and receive the care they need. A huge thank you to the ASPCA for making this event possible!

You can view all of our available pets online at rutherfordcountytn.gov/adoption or stop by today from 10 AM to 2 PM and meet them in person 💙. And if you can't make it right now, don't worry. We'll also be hosting another free adoption day next Saturday, September 12th!

‼️Our pet pantry is running low! 😿Thanks to your support, we’ve been able to offer free food and supplies to pet parents in need. If you’d like to help us restock the pantry so we can continue providing this assistance to the community, we’d be grateful for any donations of dry cat and dog food.

🐶😸If you missed our free adoption event last weekend, don't worry! You've still got more opportunities to take home a new friend from PAWS at no cost. 📣This Saturday, 9/05, and next Saturday, 9/12, we'll be waiving all adoption fees for dogs and cats at PAWS!

🐾These free adoption days are part of The Rescue Effect, a national campaign with the ASPCA that helps shelters and rescues increase adoptions, engage communities, and connect more animals with loving homes.

🚨We've still got LOTS of kittens at the shelter, and they've been eating all the wet fishy cat food! 😺We have some chunky food left, but most of the younger kittens prefer a fishy paté. We're also running low on dryer sheets for our towels, blankets, and other laundry.

💉It's Free Vaccine Friday!🐶😺Thanks to Petco Love, PAWS is able to offer free walk-in distemper + parvovirus vaccines (DAPPv) for dogs and a feline combination vaccine (HCP) for cats .

These are available every Friday, unless otherwise noted, at 285 John R Rice Blvd in Murfreesboro from 12 to 1:30 PM and 2 to 4 PM. Vaccines are provided on a walk-in, first-come, first-served basis, so no reservation or appointment is needed.💜
