Our LVMTs are an essential part of your pet’s healthcare team! From inducing and monitoring anesthesia and assisting with surgery, performing diagnostic tests, dispensing controlled medications, and providing compassionate patient care, they help keep your pets safe and healthy every step of the way. 💙

In Tennessee, veterinary technicians must be licensed through the Tennessee Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners to practice as LVMTs. Their responsibilities include performing authorized veterinary medical tasks under the appropriate supervision of a licensed veterinarian. They work within the scope of their training and Tennessee law, helping veterinarians provide the highest standard of care.
