Just putting this out there. Do any of our puppy customers have an intact, son or daughter of Bobo and Maypop ? And are you at a place where you might consider parting with the dog ? Since maypop hasn't had any litter since the age of four I need to consider other ways to replace those lines ! I thought she was going to have one more and give me my replacement puppies, but that's not the way it is.

I have an announcement ! After a few years of lull in our program. We have a new stud dog and a new dam ! Thank you to Erica at Liberty Collies for entrusting us with Chance 🥰 I'm in love with this dog and so proud of how he's doing with the children and pets on the farm. It was going to be so hard to find a dog to fill Bobo's shoes as he takes a step back from being our main stud dog (we still might have his puppies in the future) . While it is going to be short term, as he is getting a little bit older himself, Chance is absolutely the dog to fill that bill. His presence, lovable nature, Collie style, very good genetics, excellent conformation and outcross pedigree elements from the european Wicani Kennel, are going to be a blessing to my program. Years ago, when we traveled through Montana, we visited Fort Benton. I was very intrigued by the statue and story of this dog. He's clearly a working farm Collie type .

Popover ! Maypop's grandam . Her sweetness and gentleness is what made me pick her for a foundation, genetically tested mama dog. When we got her, she had not been trained or been around children. So in her happiness to meet my little boy, she tried jumping on him. he fell over and she Never did it again. She was very naturally attuned and gentle with children .
