Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about how much things have changed around here, and how much my own priorities have shifted, too. Between teaching, flowers, life on the farm, and learning to slow down and be more present, I just don’t feel the same pull toward social media that I once did.
Those of us who have been around Instagram since the early days remember what a special community this place was. Before the reels, before the monetization, before an algorithm decided what we should see. It felt more personal. We found each other, followed along with one another’s lives, and built genuine connections.
I still love sharing what’s happening around the farm and in the flower fields, but I’m no longer interested in playing the algorithm game or forcing myself to post every day just to keep numbers up. These days, I’d rather pick up a book than doom-scroll, and I’m learning to be okay with showing up here a little less.
So if you see less of me, please know it’s not because I don’t care. ❤️ To the friends I’ve connected with over the years, I still want to follow your journeys. I just rarely see your posts anymore unless I go searching for your accounts. I miss the days when keeping up with each other happened naturally.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support this little flower farm, places custom orders, stops by the stand, or takes a moment to say hello. Your support means more than any follower count ever could.
