Good morning everyone. Just took one of my dogs to the vet for surgery. While checking in there was a lady there with 12 day old chihuahua pups that were not feeling good. Initially she had them in a cat carrier but then she sat in the waiting room and took one out and was letting people pet it. This is THE WORST thing you can do for many reasons. 1. The pup is already sick. 2. That puppy has no defense against illness and disease because it's too young to have any shots. 3. People have germs on there hands. Who knows what they are touching and are now putting all that on the already sick, defenseless puppy. Do your puppies a favor and keep them safe by not allowing strangers to touch and put their faces in your puppies face.. at least until they have had all their shots and can ward off germs and illness.
