Meet Sally! 🐾
Sally is a 3-month-old Pyrenees mix, and today was her very first introductory groom! 🥹🫧✂️
Puppy introductions are all about taking things slow and positive. We let puppies sniff, investigate, and get familiar with all the different tools, sounds, and sensations they’ll experience during grooming. If we find something they’re unsure or nervous about, that gives us the opportunity to talk about how we can work on it together and set them up for future grooming success! 💜
I also always take a few minutes after an introductory groom to go over any puppy or grooming questions with their family. Starting young and creating positive experiences can make such a HUGE difference as they grow — especially when your little puppy is going to become a very BIG puppy! 😂🐾
Sally did such a wonderful job today, and I can’t wait to watch this sweet girl grow! ♡
