Let’s talk about how your dog goes from SUPER fluffy to SUPER short. 😂

I know you guys have seen those videos like, “Such and such groomer, count your days!” 😂 But there’s usually a lot more happening underneath that fluffy coat than you realize.

This video shows you what it actually looks like when a groomer tries to save the coat on a dog that has significant matting. From blowing, bathing, conditioning, drying, brushing, and de-matting, we try to safely work through it before deciding that shorter is the better option.

Sometimes owners really want their dog left longer, and I completely understand that! But I want you to SEE what your dog may have to go through to make that happen, and why sometimes the safest and kindest choice is to start over shorter.

Knowledge is everything. ❤️🐾
